Our Mission and Values
Mission
We help people reclaim their sense of self after adversity by providing trauma-informed care that prioritizes safety, connection, and sustainable growth.
Vision
To be a catalyst for healing—where people are not defined by what happened to them but supported in discovering what is possible for them.
Welcome
I'm Amanda Price, LISW, and I'm so glad you're here.
I believe healing happens in the context of authentic connection. If you're considering therapy, chances are something in your life feels overwhelming, painful, or stuck right now. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone.
As a therapist, I show up as a real person. I value authenticity, honesty, compassion, and sometimes even humor. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in healing, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself—without judgment, shame, or the pressure to have it all figured out.
My clinical lens is deeply rooted in trauma and nervous system-informed care. Through a Polyvagal-informed approach, I view many of our emotional, behavioral, and relational struggles through the lens of the nervous system. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I often ask, "What happened to you?" and "How has your nervous system adapted to help you survive?"
Because of this, I often work from the bottom up before the top down. While thoughts and insight are important, lasting change often happens when we learn to understand, regulate, and work with the body's responses to stress, trauma, and overwhelm. I help clients build awareness of their nervous system, strengthen their capacity for regulation, and reconnect with a sense of safety, connection, and resilience.
I do not subscribe to a single therapeutic modality or believe that one approach fits every person. Instead, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and integrate interventions based on the unique needs of each client. My work incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, attachment theory, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, somatic and Polyvagal-informed approaches, and trauma-focused treatment. I believe therapy should be individualized, flexible, and responsive to the person sitting in front of me.
In addition to individual therapy, I am passionate about the power of group work. While individual therapy provides a space for personal exploration and healing, groups offer something uniquely powerful—the opportunity to connect with others who truly understand. Group experiences can reduce isolation, increase support, foster accountability, build skills, and remind us that we are not alone in our struggles. Healing often happens not only within ourselves but also in connection with others.
I also provide both individual and group clinical supervision for social workers and helping professionals. Supporting clinicians as they develop confidence, competence, and their own authentic professional identity is one of the most meaningful aspects of my work. My supervision style is collaborative, reflective, trauma-informed, and growth-oriented. I strive to create a space where clinicians feel supported, challenged, and encouraged as they strengthen their clinical skills while remaining grounded in who they are as practitioners.
Whether you're seeking therapy, group support, or clinical supervision, my hope is that you find a space where you feel welcomed, understood, and empowered. It is truly an honor to walk alongside people as they heal, grow, and reconnect with the strengths they already possess.
I look forward to connecting with you.
