Who we are
I'm Amanda Price, LISW, and I'm so glad you're here.
If you're exploring therapy, chances are something in your life feels difficult right now. Maybe you're carrying stress, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself. Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know that you don't have to navigate it alone.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief that healing happens through authentic connection. I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" people, because I don't believe people are broken. I believe each of us has a story, a unique set of experiences, and an innate capacity for growth and healing. Sometimes we simply need a safe space, a supportive relationship, and the right tools to help us move forward.
My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and collaborative. What you see is what you get—I show up as a real person. I value authenticity, honesty, humor, and creating a space where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves. Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It's about building a trusting relationship where you feel seen, heard, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process.
My clinical lens is rooted in understanding the whole person. I recognize that our mental health is shaped by our relationships, life experiences, environments, identities, and nervous systems. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered perspective, helping clients understand not only what they are experiencing, but also why those patterns may have developed and how healing can occur.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities based on each client's individual needs. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, attachment theory, and trauma-informed interventions. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to fit the person sitting in front of me.
In addition to individual therapy, I am passionate about the power of groups. While individual therapy provides a private space for personal exploration and growth, group experiences offer something uniquely healing: connection. Groups allow us to realize we are not alone in our struggles, learn from others' experiences, practice new skills, and build meaningful support systems. There is something incredibly powerful about witnessing others' journeys while sharing your own in a safe and supportive environment.
I also provide both individual and group clinical supervision for social workers and helping professionals. Supporting clinicians in their professional growth is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Whether through individual supervision or group consultation, I strive to create a learning environment that encourages self-reflection, clinical skill development, ethical practice, confidence, and authenticity. I believe supervision should be a space where clinicians feel supported, challenged, and empowered as they develop their own professional identity.
Whether you're seeking therapy, group support, or clinical supervision, my hope is that you find a space where you feel welcomed, valued, and understood.
It is truly an honor to walk alongside people as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, deepen their self-understanding, and create meaningful change. If you're ready to take the next step, I'd love the opportunity to connect with you.
Warmly,
Amanda Price, LISW
